|
Let the vacuum bag do all the work. Glue up your laminates, slide them
into the bag, bend and clamp to the form and then pull vacuum. Vacuum
creates 1800 lbs./sq.ft. of even and uniform pressing force. Vacuum applies
equal pressure wherever the bag touches the work piece, thus eliminating
voids in the glue line.
Use our new VAK-Bond 2000 glue to help with your
stair-case systems.

Let the vacuum do the work and eliminate most of the mechanical clamps.
With the three bag manifold, the same form can be used with several bags
without waiting for the glue to dry. You only need clamps to hold the
glue-up onto the form to give it a basic shape. The bag works to press the
laminates together with 1800 lbs./sq.ft. of even and uniform pressure.
Friction prevents the laminates from sliding and straightening out. With
some thick laminates the spring back can be controlled by using a bar clamp
to hold the arch in shape when it is removed from the form.
